Canton, Michigan-based Trotec, a laser engraver and cutter manufacturer, announces that it is opening a new regional sales and support center in Raleigh, North Carolina, in February.

The facility will hold lasers and accessories that will be used for live demonstrations, materials testing and open houses.

The new center is part of an initiative announced by the company last year in which it plans to open more U.S. facilities to be closer to its customers.

Some of the equipment being housed at the Raleigh facility includes the company’s Rayjet 50 and Rayjet 300; the Speedy 300 Flexx; the Speedy 400 With TroVision; and its Atmos Nano and Atmos Duo+ exhaust systems.

“We are very excited to offer a new location where customers can see first-hand what Trotec lasers can do,” says Warren Knipple, president of Trotec Laser. “Although our laser systems are relatively compact, they are large enough that we can’t just load them in our cars to take on a sales call. Our regional sales and support centers are one more way we try to accommodate our customers and make the buying experience more pleasant.”

The new facility is the sixth in the United States. Others are in Canton; Arlington, Texas;  Hillsborough, New Jersey; Norcross, Georgia; and Tampa, Florida.
