Plymouth, Michigan-based laser engraving and cutting equipment maker Trotec Laser announces the opening of its new UK headquarters at a recently refurbished 22,000-square-foot facility in Boldon Business Park, an industrial center in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. The company says the move is intended to provide an increased warehouse capacity and office accommodation to reinforce the growing UK operations. The UK subsidiary has previously been located at Faraday Close in Washington since it was founded in 2007.

The official opening was marked with the planting of a tree by Norbert Schräfer, CEO; Simon Moore, managing director; and Martin Horne, managing director.

“We are very proud of our new UK headquarters,” says Horne. “The move will allow us to fully implement our plans for growth, supporting and developing our best-in-class products and services to meet the evolving demands of our customers.”

He continues, “The investment by the Trotec Group is testament to the success of the UK subsidiary. We focus on providing an excellent customer experience and I have no doubt that our move will only enhance our capabilities so that we can continue to meet our customers’ increasing requirements.”
