Broomfield, Colorado-based THE NBM SHOW announces plans to host two Midwest stops in 2018 for an exciting new educational concept from the National Network of Embroidery Professionals (NNEP), The Embroidery & Digitizing Conference. The events take place as part of THE NBM SHOW in Cleveland and Indianapolis.
The move comes as an effort to better serve the market in the region and combine the strengths of both organizations’ resources to educate apparel decorators, the company says.
“This is a great opportunity for embroiderers in the Midwest and beyond. Jennifer Cox and the NNEP will bring a high-quality educational component that fits perfectly alongside THE NBM SHOW. Even better, we’ll do it twice in 2018,” says Dave Pomeroy, vice president of publishing and markets at NBM.
THE NBM SHOW Cleveland takes place June 15-16; Indianapolis is scheduled for Sept. 13-15.
“I love bringing new information to embroidery professionals,” adds Cox, president of the NNEP. “Their businesses expand exponentially as they master new embroidery and digitizing skills and continue to evolve their entrepreneurial mindset. We plan to hit them with a firehose of information while they are here.”
As part of the collaboration, NNEP plans to hold classes on two days: the day prior to the exhibit hall opening and on day one of THE NBM SHOW in both cities. Class topics cover embroidery and digitizing at both events.
“We’re looking forward to partnering with NNEP and welcoming their members, as well as other apparel decorators and business owners to THE NBM SHOWs next year in Cleveland and Indianapolis,” says Sue Hueg, vice president of NBM Events.
Speakers and schedules for both NNEP dates are forthcoming.
