Next stop for THE NBM SHOW‘s 2016 tour is the home of crab cakes, the National Aquarium and the Orioles major league baseball team: Baltimore, Maryland.
The Baltimore Convention Center will host THE NBM SHOW from Thursday, Aug. 18 to Saturday, Aug. 20. A stone’s throw from the city’s historic Inner Harbor, the show is three days of networking, education and fellowship with other like-minded professionals in the sign and digital graphics, awards and engraving and decorative apparel markets.
“We’re looking forward to our return to Baltimore, a city full of history, culture and attractions,” says Sue Hueg, vice president of NBM Events. “It’s been five years since we brought THE NBM SHOW to this city and on behalf of our exhibitors, we’d like to invite all of our friends in the sign-making, awards and apparel decorating businesses to stop by to say hello. It’s a great time to visit with current suppliers, see, touch and try new products and services, learn from industry professionals at one of the free classes or in the hall, and network with old and new friends.”
Education and training are always an important part of THE NBM SHOW. The educational opportunities actually begin on Wednesday, the 17th, when Epson hosts a day-long workshop on direct-to-garment printing that the company describes as being for “owners and would-be owners.” Each day of the show there will be live training in the hall and classroom training; some of the classes that may be of interest to Sign & Digital Graphics readers include: Laminator Profitability and Vinyl 101, both put on by TyrrellTech; Profiting from Short and Long Production Runs with UV-LED printers, from Direct Color Systems; and Mastering CorelDRAW from Action Illustrated.
The exhibit hall is open 10-5 Thursday and Friday and 10-3 on Saturday. Registration is open from 8-5 Thursday and Friday and 8-3 on Saturday.
THE NBM SHOW‘s After Hours Networking Reception will be Friday night from 5:30-7 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, sponsored by Next Level Apparel.
Each day, one lucky winner will receive $500 in NBM Buyer Bucks.
Registration is free through Wednesday, August 17, and after that you can waive the $25 registration fee by using the promo code NBM2016.
As always, www.THENBMSHOW.com is your place to go to register, find out what classes are available at each show, view lists of vendors and learn more about the shows, the venues or the cities we’re visiting.
