BROOMFIELD, Colo.-THE NBM SHOW heads to the West Coast for Long Beach, California on Aug. 2-4. The multi-day event of training and networking takes place at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.

Along with the chance to see the latest technologies by some of the biggest names in the apparel decoration and graphics markets, THE NBM SHOW Long Beach features a full schedule of training opportunities presented by industry veterans covering topics like:

  • Direct-to-Garment Printing Using the Epson F2100 and F2000 Printer
  • Behind the Print–what you didn’t know, and need to, about how T-shirts are made
  • Grow Your Business Using Rhinestones, Heat Transfer Vinyl and Sign Vinyl
  • How to Create Fast Index Color Separations in Photoshop
  • Printing Better Whites–It’s Probably Not Your Ink; a How-To on Screen Printing

The training schedule of free classes begins on Aug. 2 at 10 a.m and concludes at 3 p.m. on Aug. 4.

For apparel decorators, the exhibitor roster features new additions this year including two California-based garment manufacturers: US Blanks and Upcycle. Long Beach also features a newcomer to the lineup of heat transfer vinyl companies, HTV Crafts from just up the road in Brea, California.

Additionally, NBM Long Beach features WRAPSCON which runs Aug. 2-4 at the convention center. Designed for vinyl wrap professionals, the event offers opportunities in the vehicle wrap advertising, commercial fleet graphics, and other related graphics markets.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our past as well as all new friends to THE NBM SHOW in Long Beach,” Hueg says. “Want to learn some new techniques or find out more about how a specific product works? There are 37 complimentary classes available over the four days, beginning with the two all-day classes on Wednesday, and more 60- and 90-minute classes continuing Thursday through Saturday morning.”

Several exhibiting companies offer Hands-On and Training Stop in-booth demonstrations where attendees can see and try their products.

Hueg also encourages attendees to join the NBM team and exhibitors at The BASH!, NBM’s legendary reception, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 3 at The Westin Long Beach, sponsored by Next Level Apparel, Direct Capital, Johnson Plastics Plus, and ORAFOL Americas.

In addition to networking and training opportunities, registrants have a chance to win $500 in Buyer Bucks each day of the show. Buyer Bucks are redeemable at any participating exhibitor during the show and for 30 days after the show’s close.

Registration to THE NBM SHOW is free through Aug. 1 and $25 after that. Registration includes admission to the entire show, all of the educational opportunities, and entry to The BASH!
