Sussex, Wisconsin-based The Mosaica Group, a distributor of commercial printing supplies and consumables formerly known as La Cross Litho Supply, announces that it has been named the exclusive Midwest distributor for Xanita board, the sustainable fiberboard made by the Cape Town, South Africa-based company of the same name.

Xanita board is a lightweight, UV inkjet-printable board that was introduced to the U.S. and Canada in April of 2018. It is both repulpable and recyclable and can be used for a variety of applications, including exhibition and event structures, display shelves, merchandising displays and 3D signage. The company says that its closed-cell design makes it stronger than other similar board products, as well as being 75 percent lighter.

“Our partnership with Xanita expands our product line with another wide-format solution that provides exceptional quality and a real value to our clients,” says Randy Peters, president and CEO of The Mosaica Group. “What sets this product apart is its superior closed cell, inner core construction, which yields the highest crush strength and flexibility. Also, the bonding process doesn’t include using PVA-based adhesives, enabling an exceptional water and humidity resistance which is beneficial in refrigerated applications or environments with high humidity.”
