Switzerland-based large-format printer manufacturer swissQprint announces a milestone it has reached: the shipment of its 1,000th printer.

The printer was a Nyala-series UV inkjet printer that left the swissQprint factory in Kriessern, Switzerland, on May 11, on its way to a print service provider in northern France.

According to the company, its Nyala series is its largest and highest-performing printer model and it has been the best-selling printer model in its class in Europe for the past three years.

swissQprint employs approximately 90 people at its Swiss headquarters and about another 35 at subsidiaries in the U.S., Germany and Japan. Its distribution network covers 40 countries around the globe.

swissQprint celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017.
