CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.-Sweda announces a new apparel initiative for 2019 that features made in USA garments under the Basecamp Brand label. The company says it plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Warrior Spirit Retreat, a recovery retreat for military veterans.

The product lineup features domestically-made apparel as well as American-made fabrics/sewn in Mexico with options for custom color, silhouette, and private label capability through a vertical factory in the U.S.

With imprint locations in California, Ohio, and Kentucky, Kellie Claudio, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Sweda, says the company sees the opportunity as “a one purchase order, one freight charge, and one contact convenience for our customers.”

“After years of planning, we are certainly ready to enter this category,” adds Claudio. “Offering complete event packages from bags to rags, Sweda is making the distributor search a one-stop solution.”

Alongside the Basecamp lineup, the company announces a partnership with Mill42, a brand commonly associated with the skate and surf industries. Sweda says it will also offer apparel from a mix of retail and basic brands such as Gildan, Hanes, Jerzees, Anvil, Bella Canvas, and Next Level Apparel.
