Sublimation101 Fundraises for Multiple Causes

Sublimation101 recently participated in fundraising efforts for multiple causes, specifically the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.
On September 22, the company took part in an event hosted by a nearby senior living facility to fundraise for the Alzheimer’s Association. The event, which took place on Grandparents day, featured a small car show that encouraged visiting families to vote on the cars they liked with tickets.
Michael Kaminsky, CFO of Sublimation101, was invited to be part of the event as he has an older Corvette. Kaminsky belongs to a car club in New Jersey, the members of which were all invited to the event.
When Kaminsky received the called about the event, Sublimation101 was hosting an open house. Because of this, he was able to start the fundraising efforts ahead of the event by asking the attendees if they wanted to contribute to the cause. “Between the event and the fundraising at the office, that put us over the top,” Kaminsky says. Sublimation101 raised the most money at the car event, coming in first place with Kaminsky’s Corvette.
“It was a lot of fun had by all,” Kaminsky recalls.
In addition to fundraising for the Alzheimer’s Association and in conjunction with Kaminsky’s birthday, Sublimation101 is currently fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Kaminsky explains it is in memory of his mother-in-law, Martha V. Rossi, who passed away from the disease. Kaminsky’s brother-in-law, George Rossi, currently suffers from the disease; and his sister Cindy Kaminsky, is a survivor.
“We all know somebody, have lost someone, or it might happen to someone that we dearly love,” Kaminsky says of their efforts to support the fight against cancer.
