SGP Recognizes Long-Time Members
Some of the companies received their certifications nearly a decade ago.
In its recent monthly newsletter, the Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, recognized a handful of printing companies for their long-term SGP certifications.
“Congratulations to these early adopters of the SGP certification criteria for being leaders in sustainability,” the nonprofit wrote.
The companies singled out were: Pictura Graphics of Minneapolis, certified since July 2008; The John Roberts Company of Minneapolis, certified since July 2008; Designtex of Portland, Maine, certified since February 2009; Meisel of Carrollton, Texas, certified since September of 2009; Global Packaging of Oaks, Pennsylvania, certified since November 2009; Consolidated Printing of Chicago, certified since November 2009; Minuteman Press of Lawrence, Kansas, certified since December 2009; and Alcom of Harleysville, Pennsylvaia, cerfied since December 2009.
