Charleston, South Carolina-based Sawgrass Technologies, developers of sublimation ink and color management software, announces two free webinars that it will host with two other companies in the coming days.

On Wednesday, May 24, Sawgrass and Maryland Heights, Missouri-based Coastal Business Supplies, a wholesale distributor serving the printing, decorative apparel, promotional products and fashion and retail industries, will host an event they are calling “How to Select the Right Sublimation Printer.”

The webinar will be hosted by Jimmy Lamb of Sawgrass and Candis Spraul of Coastal Business Supplies. The intent of the webinar is to help sublimators first define the product scope of what they want to produce. Large designs on apparel? Smaller items such as cell phone covers or plaques? Full-color graphics? The pair will discuss the key aspects of each printer platform so participants will have good insight into what will work best for them.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the experts questions at the end of the interactive session, a recording of which will be available on Coastal’s website within two days of the event’s conclusion.

The webinar will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. Pacific time, 4 p.m. Eastern. Click here to register.

On Thursday, May 25, Lamb and David Gross of Mobile, Alabama-based Condé Systems, suppliers of a range of sublimation items including blanks, inks, printers, heat presses and more, are teaming up on a live, interactive webinar covering the ins and outs of Virtuoso Print Manager. Virtuoso is the universal print management software for the Sawgrass SG400, SG800 and VJ 628 printers.

Topics will include how to get great color output with CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and CreativeStudio design software for both Windows and Mac.

The experts will also discuss how to streamline production with hot folder with customizable presets, multilingual user-interface, file- and web-to-print workflows, and more. Attendees will be able to ask questions, and following the webinar’s conclusion a recorded video will be available via the Condé TV YouTube page.

This webinar will be Thursday at 1 p.m. Pacific time, 4 p.m. Eastern. Click here to register.
