Clifton, New Jersey-based Sandy Alexander Inc., a full-service graphics communication company that has been around for more than a half-century, announces its acquisition of Passaic, New Jersey’s Signmasters Inc.

According to Sandy Alexander, Signmasters, founded in 1978, has been led by Howard Muser for more than 40 years and has developed into one of the premier graphic communications companies in the Northeast. With a focus on top quality promotional, brand support, and signage for the retail industry, Signmasters has become a leading provider for in-store signage seen in department stores and malls across the nation, its new parent company says.

It says that as a dedicated provider to prestigious national brands, Signmasters’ capabilities and services align with Sandy Alexander’s current wide-format platform. The current Signmasters client base will also benefit from new access to Sandy Alexanders state-of-the-art and recently expanded facility located in Parksouth Court, Orlando, Florida.

“Signmasters’ specialization in wide-format allows Sandy Alexander to further expand our operations in the retail vertical, but also in offset and digital print production, says Sandy Alexander president and CEO, Mike Graff. “The bonus of their stellar reputation and similar dedication as a one-source graphic communications provider prove their capabilities and business structure perfectly complement our current platform. Their familiarity with wide format solutions-from concept to delivery-will only strengthen our current commitment to the same services and we believe our workforces will integrate seamlessly. We appreciated the incoming team’s professionalism and comradery, from the moment we met we knew it would be a perfect fit.”

The Signmasters team will relocate to Sandy Alexander’s facilities in Clifton, to the company’s newly-renovated wide- and grand-format building.
