SAi Opens Australian Office

Opening an office on the island will help it attract new customers there and offer more training resources to the customers it already has.

sai_275x275Salt Lake City-based SAi (SA International), a provider of software solutions for industries including sign-making, large-format digital printing and CAD/CAM for machining, announces the opening of a new Australian division in Sydney.

“Australia is a growing market for our software solutions, particularly in the woodworking and kitchen cabinet segments,” says Sarit Tichon, senior vice president of worldwide sales for SAi. “Strategically, it makes sense for us to open a new business division here.”

The resident director of SAi’s Australian branch will be Gregory Will, who works for Australia’s Penguin Management, a company that specializes in managing the operations of international companies that want to open a branch in Australia.

SAi says that opening an Australian facility will not only help it expand the reach of its software on that continent but also allow to offer more in-depth training services than it was able to do without a physical presence there.
