Roland DGA Undergoes Personnel Changes

Between the two of them the men have more than a half-century of combined industry experience.

laraIrvine, California-based Roland DGA, the U.S. division of the Japan-based printer company, says it has strengthened its leadership team by making two key personnel changes.

Amado Lara, a 28-year Roland veteran who was previously director of sales for Latin America for Roland DGA, has been promoted to sales director, where he will now oversee Roland DGA’s sales in both North and South America.

edmondsonAlso, Dave Edmondson has joined Roland DGA as director of business development and product management, overseeing product and business development efforts and teams across multiple industries. Edmonson has more than 25 years of product development experience within the digital print business and his resumé includes time spent at Avery Dennison, ENCAD and, most recently, HP.

“These strategic personnel changes will be instrumental in ensuring we achieve our goals in our existing business, while continuing to expand into new markets,” says Roland DGA president and CEO Andrew Oransky. “We know Amado Lara will do a great job in his new capacity, and we are excited to have Dave Edmondson bring his extensive experience and expertise to the Roland family.”
