Roland DG Australia, that continent’s division of the Japan-based manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and 3D devices, announces the winner of its “With Roland” competition, that it held in conjunction with its Mobile Imagination Centre’s travels across the country this year.

Lachlan Mason of LJMDesign won for a speedboat wrap done on a Roland VS-540 printer/cutter. The competition urged Roland customers to submit images of inspiring work they had done with a Roland device. The most inspiring and creative entry at each stop of the Mobile Imagination Centre received an iDecora desktop vinyl cutter and had their name thrown into the grand prize drawing. Lachlan and Karla Mason are claiming that grand prize: a trip for two to a luxury villa on Bedarra Island, Queensland, a prize valued at approximately $5,000.

The Lachlans say they’re thrilled to be the grand prize winners, and they also say that they’ve also decide to upgrade to a new Roland VG-640.

The Mobile Imagination Centre is set for more travels across Australia in 2018, the company says.
