Sunnyvale, California-based ink company Prism Inks announces the acquisition of Sunny Valley, California-based Graphics One, a distributor of products to the printing industry.

“Prism Inks has experienced tremendous growth with OEM printer manufacturers over the past 10 years,” says Amir Ajanee, president and CEO of Prism. “The acquisition of Graphics One allows us to leverage this growth into other digital imaging markets through both our traditional channels and through the extensive network of Graphics One.”

The agreement stems from an existing distribution relationship both companies maintained over the course of prior years. Through the acquisition, Graphics One acts as the global distribution branch for digital inks produced by various Prism companies.

“We are pleased to become part of the Prism Inks family,” says Dan Barefoot, CEO of Graphics One. “We have distributed products from Prism since the start of Graphics One and have had a very successful relationship.”

Graphics One maintains its headquarters in Sunny Valley, now as an operating division of Prism. The facility also continues to distribute the current Graphics One line of products.

Prism remains at its existing headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
