Nashville, Tennessee-based PixelFlex, an LED display manufacturer and solutions provider, has selected Portland, Oregon-based-SpaceView‘s augmented reality visualization app as a tool for its sales team.

The SpaceView app, which the startup has been developing for three years, uses augmented reality to let clients to see how real-life objects will look in their space, providing near-instantaneous and accurate renderings at a low cost, the company says. PixelFlex’s national sales team, which serves large-scale events, stadiums, retail, corporate installations and more, will be using the app to the scope and layout of projects.

“The SpaceView app is a differentiator for us in the competitive sales cycles in our industry,” says David Venus, director of marketing for PixelFlex. “With SpaceView, we’re able to provide proof of concept to all of our customers and provide a higher level of service and greater confidence in their decision-making process.”

Another digital display company, Planar, already uses the SpaceView app, it was announced earlier this year.
