CARLSTADT, N.J.-Pantone Color Institute unveils the 2019 Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). The report highlights top colors from each fashion designer’s collection, showing at NYFW for the upcoming season.

“The mindset for Spring/Summer 2019 reflects our desire to face the future with empowering colors that provide confidence and spirit; colors that are uplifting; joyful hues that lend themselves to playful expressionism and take us down a path of creative and unexpected combinations,” the institute explains of the colors.

The report features the organization’s top 12 standout colors, as well as current takes on four classic, neutral colors. The standout lineup includes reddish hues such as Fiesta and Jester Red, while the neutral collection offers up deep blues, off-whites, and brown shades.

The collection “transcends seasonality for both men’s and women’s fashion,” explains Pantone. “Vibrant without being overpowering, highlighted shades illustrate our desire for authenticity and our continued need for creativity and relatable, accessible design.”
