ORAFOL Europe Acquires Connecticut Film and Sheet Company

Germany-based ORAFOL Europe GmbH announces its acquisition of Rowland Technologies Inc. of Wallingford, Connecticut. Rowland Technologies is a specialty manufacturer of high-quality plastic film and sheet. With a unique extrusion process and proprietary in-house tooling techniques, Rowland makes progressive solutions for a wide range of applications worldwide, according to its new parent company.

The latest addition to the ORAFOL Group enhances the company’s production capabilities and product offerings while ensuring quality standards for a key raw material, ORAFOL says.

Rowland’s portfolio of high-performance products includes its RowTec polycarbonate film, SolaTuf impact-modified acrylic film and Rowlux illusion film. The company will continue operations in its newly expanded 70,000-square-foot facility under the name Rowland Technologies, An ORAFOL Company.
