Cleveland-based The Rogers Co., the exclusive distributor for Woodridge, Illinois-based exhibit display company Nimlok in the Cleveland area, announces it has received the 2016 Business Longevity Award from the pro-business group Power Players of Cleveland.
The group, which holds quarterly luncheons in support of the business community, introduced the inaugural Business Longevity Awards at its most recent gathering, honoring 45 Cleveland-area businesses that had at least 50 years in existence. The Rogers Co. was founded in 1945 by scenic artist Van Rogers, a veteran of the Walt Disney Co.
Rick Busby, president of The Rogers Company, and more than 15 Rogers Co. staff members with the longest company tenure accepted the award at the August luncheon.
