Minuteman Press Owner in British Columbia Celebrates a Quarter-Century in Business

Doug Frederickson is the owner of the Minuteman Press franchise in Surrey, British Columbia, and he is celebrating 25 years in business this year.
Before joining Farmingdale, New York-based company Minuteman Press International in 1994, Frederickson had been working in retail as a manager for a Canadian tire shop.
“At the time I was looking to move forward, I really wanted to take back my life and gain time that was being spent working,” he recalls.
At the time he opened, it was only a three-person shop, he says, and his staff has grown to 28 today. He says that he has enjoyed watching his staff grow into a solid team that looks after each other and the customers.
He says his company has experienced revenue growth every year since it opened. For that, he credits Minuteman Press’s support system, which he says has been invaluable in all aspects of the business.
