Mimaki USA Announces Organizational Changes

Suwanee, Georgia-based Mimaki USA, a manufacturer of wide-format printers and cutters, announces several important organizational changes.

Yasuhiro Haba has been named as the new president of Mimaki USA and will lead the company throughout the Americas. Previously Haba served as sales division deputy general manager for Mimaki Engineering JP Division in Japan. He will be relocating to Mimaki USA’s Western region office in Los Angeles.

Haba succeeds previous president Masaaki Fujita, who is now appointed as the senior managing director for Mimaki Engineering in Japan.

Ken VanHorn has been appointed vice president of marketing and operations for Mimaki USA.

Shinsuke Oota will now serve as general manager of service in the Americas.

Two employees will remain in their current positions. Naoya Kawagoshi will remain vice president of sales, Mimaki USA, covering the United States and Canada, and Koji Imoto, who will cover Mexico, the Caribbean and South America (with the exception of Brazil) remains vice president of exports, Mimaki USA.

Haba, Kawagoshi, VanHorn and Oota will jointly lead a newly-formed division-Mimaki USA Business Planning Division-responsible for sales and operations in the Americas.

The company reports that the U.S. sales group will also transition to new a regional structure. Carmen Pacella will be the Western region manager; Ross Esenberg the Midwest region manager; Mike Trotter the Northeast region manager; and Scott Champeau the South region manager.
