Middle Atlantic Announces Promotions, New Hire

Company says the staff changes strengthen its finance, operations and distribution teams.

Fairfield, New Jersey-based Middle Atlantic Products, the commercial A/V division of Legrand, North America, announces some staff promotions and an addition.

The company, which is a manufacturer of support and protection products for mounting integrated A/V systems, says that John Stenzel is now the company’s director of national distribution. Previously, Stenzel spent more than seven years as the company’s regional sales manager, responsible for leading a 16-person sales team that produced record revenues in an eight-state territory for five vertical markets. His sales and management background includes a lengthy history of sales and revenue growth, including stints at Anixter and MilesTek.

Middle Atlantic also promoted Austin Mills to vice president of finance. Mills previously was director of financial planning and analysis at Legrand. The company says he is an accomplished finance and business intelligence professional who specializes in accounting data analysis to drive continuous financial improvement. His experience and business acumen is spread across various disciplines including finance, accounting, manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, and sustainability. He has more than 10 years experience at Legrand and has also served as the company’s director of financial operations and operations controller.

Finally, Middle Atlantic Products announces the hiring of Michael O’Neil as the company’s new director of operational excellence. A former general manager for several leading manufacturing operations, O’Neil brings more than 15 years of experience to his new company. Previously he served as vice president of operations at Glebar Company, and in addition has held key executive-level and management positions for companies including Handy & Harman, TE Wire & Cable, United Technologies and Fortune Plastics
