BARNSLEY, England-Water-based ink manufacturer Magna Colours adds two new staff members to its technical team. The company appoints Melvin Hall as print technician and Jason Chapman as regional technical sales manager for Asia.

Hall joins the organization with a background in establishing textile screen-printing departments in multiple countries. His previous clients include printers in Sri Lanka, Spain, India, China, Pakistan, and the United States. Hall’s experience in printing and working with textiles dates back to 1976.

Chapman comes to his role with prior experience working with manufacturers and printers across Asia. His background includes furthering the use of water-based printing, factory design, equipment sourcing, and site planning.

“Jason and Melvin will both contribute greatly to doing what Magna Colours are passionate about, spreading the word about the capabilities and benefits of water-based inks, in the place of harmful variants,” states Helen Parry, managing director of MagnaColours. “These appointments mark a significant step in strengthening our efforts to educate and support our customers and distributors in getting the best results possible from our products.”

In addition to staff appointments, the company recently expanded its educational programs with online and onsite courses.
