Hatfield, Pennsylvania-based Laminators Inc., makers of sign panel products and architectural systems, announces that its Omega-Bond solid core aluminum composite panels have passed the ASTM E84 test and now have a Class A fire rating.

The American Society for Testing and Materials‘ test method E-84, commonly known as the tunnel test, measures how far and how fast flames spread across the surface of the test sample. Surface burning, the company says, is one of the most-tested-for fire performance properties of a material.

The Omega-Bond Standard, Omega-Bond Premium and Omega-Bond Economy lines all earned the Class A rating, the company says.
