Illinois Sustainable Tech Center Joins SGP

The Sayville, New York-based Sustainable Green Printing Partnership, a nonprofit organization that provides sustainability certification in the graphics communication industry, announces that the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, an environmentally focused research group affiliated with the University of Illinois, has joined SGP as a Resource Partner.

The ISTC encourages and assists citizens, businesses and government agencies to prevent pollution, conserve natural resources, and reduce waste to protect human health and the environment of Illinois and beyond. It integrates applied research, technical assistance, and information services to advance efforts in the areas of pollution prevention; water and energy conservation; and materials recycling and beneficial reuse.

SGP Resource Partners are non-profits, non-governmental organizations or educational institutions engaged in promoting, teaching or researching in the areas of graphic arts and/or sustainability.
