IKONICS Corp. Hires New Graphic Designer

Fawn Giese's background includes a decade and a half in the newspaper industry.

IKONICS Corp., parent company of Duluth, Minnesota-based image transfer products company IKONICS Imaging, welcomes Fawn Giese as the company’s new graphic designer. Giese is responsible for designing and creating effective marketing materials across all IKONICS divisions.

Commenting on her new position, Giese says, “I’m excited to be a part of the team at IKONICS, and I look forward to utilizing my diverse design background within the marketing department, while learning a new industry in the print world – I can’t wait to see where this opportunity leads.”

Giese joins the company with more than 15 years of experience in the design industry with roots in the newspaper industry as layout editor. In addition to her work on newspaper and magazine layouts, she also worked as creative director where she incorporated story ideas, optimized photos and layout, along with generating graphic illustrations. Thereafter, she worked as an electronic prepress operator, prepping digital files along with leading the art direction and redesigns. Giese is well-versed in website creation and will assist the IKONICS digital marketing team with web design.
