BOENNIGHEIM, Germany-The Hohenstein Group announces a restructuring of its divisions, effective Nov. 11. The organization says the move comes as a means to “fulfill current market demands more effectively.”

The group’s branches include a mix of textile, life sciences, and comparative product testing, as well as quality verification and textile certification. Hohenstein names managing directors Dr. Stefan Droste, Florian Girmond, Dr. Timo Hammer, Professor Dirk Höfer, and owner Dr. Stefan Mecheels as responsible for the various branches.

“The industry increasingly requires our expertise as an application-orientated center of excellence for product development. We offer a quick response time for testing,” states Mecheels. “To be able to optimally support our customers in all issues in the future, we have streamlined our organizational structure and closely merged our operational areas that focus on similar issues.”

In addition to branch positions, Hohenstein names Dr. Christof Madinger as the chief operating officer for the testing and certification of clothing, textiles, and raw materials.
