FARGO, N.D.-Heat Transfer Warehouse volunteers time with a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. Employees at the company’s Fargo, North Dakota headquarters participated in the project on Feb. 19.

The project took place at the Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity ReStore location. Employees from the company headquarters helped the organization by reorganizing merchandise in the store as well as painting parts of the location. ReStore is a home improvement thrift store that offers new and gently-used building supplies, appliances, and furniture at discounted rates. The store’s proceeds help support Habitat’s mission of building affordable homes in the surrounding Cass and Clay counties.

Brendon Ranagan, marketing associate at Heat Transfer Warehouse, notes that the organization’s process “is a cycle of giving that helps our community thrive.”

“We were glad to assist in some renovating of the building, in which our Fargo team painted and organized the store,” adds Ranagan.

ReStore’s efforts help keep more than 1 million pounds of usable materials out of landfills by repurposing goods for home building, renovations, and creative arts projects, according to the company.

The project marks the latest community involvement endeavor for Heat Transfer Warehouse. In late 2018, employees from the Fargo branch participated in their third consecutive holiday gift drive for local students at McKinley Elementary School.
