Hargittai and Miller Pair Up to Win Wrap Team Challenge
Istvan (Steve) Hargittai and Jim Miller beat out eight other two-man teams to win the three-day competition.
Vehicle wrap installers Istvan (Steve) Hargittai and Jim Miller recently teamed up to capture the Wrap Team Challenge, held in October at a recent graphics industry trade show in Las Vegas.
Hargittai, of Florida Car Wrap in Davie, Florida, and Miller, of Miller Decals in Acworth, Georgia, beat out eight other two-person teams to win the Wrap Team Challenge, and for their efforts took home the first-place prize of $2,000.
The competition took place over three days. Finishing in second place with a prize of $1,000 was Damon Miles and Derek Trahan of Corporate Installations Inc.; and finishing in third place and earning a prize of $500 was Shane Lloyd of GeckoWraps and Frank Oliver of Phatautowraps.
The three judges for the contest were Jeremy Connor, owner/president of Who Did That Inc.; Jermaine Tucker, owner of Advanced Graphic Installations; and Nathan VanderVliet, president of Exotic Vehicle Wraps.
The three-day competition took place at the 2018 SGIA Expo.
