GSG raises funds for victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. The mid-September 2017 hurricane is currently regarded as the worst natural disaster on record in Dominica and the cause of large-scale damage and casualties in Puerto Rico.

GSG generated funds through sales of a limited-edition T-shirt, sold at $5 per-shirt at a recent industry event in New Orleans. The final total comes in at $2,500, all of which GSG says it plans to donate to UNICEF’s disaster relief effort in the region.

UNICEF’s efforts include emergency kits with essentials such as clean drinking water. More than 30 percent of the island’s residents still have limited or no access to potable water. GSG encourages those interested in donating to visit UNICEF’s website

The Puerto Rico benefit is the latest in a series of efforts by GSG to raise funds and awareness for hurricane-stricken regions. Earlier this month, the company raised $9,000 for victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
