GMG Academy Presents Workshop Program 2019

The company's multi-day workshops offer hands-on training but they do take place at its German headquarters. It does offer free archived webinars, however.

According to the company, the schedule has been restructured to better fulfill its customers’ needs. The two- to three-day workshops, taking place at the company’s facility in Tuebingen, Germany, are designed to provide valuable first-hand expert knowledge in order to ensure high-quality results.

April 2-4: Color Management and Standardization

GMG provides broad knowledge in color spaces and spectrophotometry. Participants will learn all the important aspects about standardization and proofing.

May 21-23: Digital Printing-Process Control and Profiling

Participants will discover how to master digital print processes, including which parameters are important and how to control them. Attendees will learn how to use GMG ColorServer in a professional and efficient way and how to convert files from one printing system to another. In addition: How to create individual profiles.

Nov. 5-7: Packaging: Proofing and Separation

Participants will become acquainted with the complete color management process chain for packaging print production using the latest GMG technology. They will learn to understand technical correlations and background in order to master their own processes in color coordination with efficiency and communicate better with customers and suppliers.
