Epilog Laser Contributes to the Action Center’s Annual Toy Drive

An Epilog spokeswoman says the company has been collecting toys over the holiday season for various charities for at least 10 years.

epilogtoydriveGolden, Colorado-based Epilog Laser recently conducted its annual toy drive for the Holiday Shop at the Action Center of Jefferson County, a local nonprofit in Colorado. Between the company’s main production facility, sales and marketing building, and its technical support building, the team collected hundreds of toys and was able to raise an additional $650 to buy even more toys for children in Jefferson County.

“Christmas is supposed to be a magical time for children, but if parents are experiencing hardships during the holidays, it can greatly impact the spirit of the season,” says Epilog marketing communication specialist, Amy Dallman.

According to Dallman, Epilog has been doing toy drives for at least 10 years with various organizations. For the past four years, it has worked with the Action Center. Over the years, Epilog has collected and donated thousands of toys, books, and games to the Action Center along with monthly donations to its ongoing assistance programs.

“The Action Center provides an immediate and compassionate response to those in our community experiencing hardship, and offers the resources and services needed to stabilize lives and promotes pathways to lasting change,” Dallman explains. “We continue to work with the Holiday Shop at the Action Center so that kids all over Jefferson County can have a memorable holiday, regardless of their family’s financial situation.”

With the Holiday Shop, low-income families in Jefferson County have the chance to shop for Christmas presents with no fee whatsoever. In 2018, for example, Dallman says the Holiday Shop provided toys for close to 4,000 children.

“We were happy to play a role in that with many other generous donors,” Dallman adds.
