Spencer, Massachusetts-based FLEXcon, a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive film products, has teamed up with Framingham, Massachusetts-based ICL Imaging, a large format printing company, to donate time and materials for an exhibit at a museum in nearby Worcester.

The two companies created a 60-foot multi-layered cityscape graphic at the EcoTarium. The graphic highlights iconic Worcester-area buildings.

FLEXcon donated its FLEXmark promotional advertising film for the display, and ICL Imaging did the printing. The two companies selected materials for printing and overlaminating that would adhere to custom designed and fabricated panels. They tested a number of products and identified a custom solution that provided the look the museum was after.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with our longtime customer, ICL Imaging, to offer materials to a non-profit institution that provides such a benefit to the local Worcester community,” says John Bennett, vice president of product identification for FLEXcon. “Our account manager, Mark Mudgett, has worked with ICL Imaging for over 20 years and has developed this relationship to a place where we now partner on charitable projects. Giving back to local communal organizations allows us to positively impact the neighborhoods our employees live and work in.”

This partnership continues FLEXcon’s longtime support of the EcoTarium, which includes Bennett’s involvement as an executive board member and trustee of the museum.

The City Science exhibit is now on display there; for more information, please click here.
