Featured Project: Watchfire Signs Selected to Upgrade Signage at Arkansas Church

The new signage is a major upgrade from the two signs the church had been using for many years, the company says.

Danville, Illinois-based LED sign maker Watchfire Signs announces that it was asked by the First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas to install two new signs, one interior and one exterior. In the case of the interior sign, the company says, parishioners will be able to more easily follow along with scripture passages, song lyrics and announcements made during services.

The 3-millimeter, high-resolution, full-color indoor display measures 9’5″ x 15’1″. It replaces two projector screens that were difficult to read because of the sanctuary’s lighting. Projectors, which often hang from the ceiling 40 or more feet above congregants, also require frequent and expensive maintenance, including bringing in special equipment to change their bulbs, the company says.

Using Pro Presenter Worship Presentation software, the First Pentecostal Church media director can display content to enhance a worship service, including lyrics and scripture, live video and worship-themed graphics.

The church is also buying a Watchfire sign to replace its aging landmark sign with a new outdoor digital sign. The 16-millimeter XVS sign is 12’4″ x 25’8″ and includes lifetime 4G connectivity from Watchfire for wireless programming. The sign offers high-resolution LED images, full-motion video capability at up to 60 frames per second, and optional live-video capability, the company says.
