Sarasota, Florida-based Vista System, a provider of modular wayfinding and ADA signage systems, completed this project a couple of years ago for the South African retail food chain SPAR.

The company was looking for point-of-sale, LED-illuminated wayfinding signs to direct shoppers through the aisles, while adding a decorative aspect to the store through the use of graphics. The installation was done by DCP Signs of San Lucia in the KZN Province, using Vista Light Profiles with LED illumination.

The installation needed to be done overnight, says Ian Lentz, owner of DCP Signs, so ease of installation was critical.

“As you can see, the pictures look great and I think everyone is suitably impressed,” he says. “Going forward I think we may be able to offer more of these type of signs to our customers.”
