Newport News, Virginia-based DreamWraps, a vinyl wrap and graphic design company, says it is using Richmond, Virginia-based Drytac‘s products to deliver wall coverings to both residential and business customers throughout North America. And, the company says, it even uses Drytac’s ReTac Textures product for the walls in its own headquarters.

“We first came across Drytac at (a) conference in New Orleans in 2017,” says DreamWraps co-founder Sharita Johnson. “We were really impressed with the quality of the media and the stunning, vibrant colors that we could reproduce on them. We also loved the range of textures on offer and the fact that even after many years, the film can be easily removed from the wall without leaving any residue.”

Johnson says that her company has grown beyond providing customizable wallcoverings for residential customers, and its growth in the commercial sector is being driven by an increase in hotel business. She credits Drytac with helping spur that growth.

“Hotels tend to change their decor every few years, so they really appreciate the Drytac solution which makes changing the wallpaper a breeze,” Johnson says. “The Drytac media is much easier is to put up than traditional wallpaper. You can also peel it off again with no fuss and with no residue left behind. It’s an ideal solution for hotels.”

Johnson also notes that ReTac Textures has a Class 0 fire rating, meaning it’s in compliance in public areas that are governed by strict fire codes.
