Featured Project: Sensory Interactive Tapped for Large Digital Platform in LA

Sensory Interactive's platform will be spread throughout the entire site via multiple delivery methods, whether they be interactive kiosks or giant video walls.

Washington D.C.-based Sensory Interactive, which specializes in experiential digital platforms that may include LED walls, billboards and interactive kiosks, will play a major role in the digital communications aspect of a major multi-use development under way in Los Angeles.

Construction is continuing on the new Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District (LASED) at Hollywood Park. Sensory Interactive is helping launch a site-wide promotional platform that it says will offer unique opportunities for visitor engagement, brand building and revenue generation.

Located in Inglewood, home to the home of the NBA’s LA Lakers, LASEC is a 298-acre development with a 70,000-seat stadium that will become the new home for the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers. The site will also offer a half-million square feet of retail and entertainment space, office space, thousands of residences and a variety of public open spaces.

Sensory Interactive is working with project owner Kroenke Holdings, consultant Legends, and others to create a comprehensive promotional platform for LASED that will include a coordinated network of interior and exterior large-format, small-format, and kiosk displays located throughout the project. The company says this promotional platform will spread across the full site, incorporating the stadium, performance venue, commercial buildings, the retail district, hotels, residential buildings, and exterior spaces.

Sensory Interactive is simultaneously working with developer Wilson Meaney to create a promotional platform for Hollywood Park’s retail town center, pictured in the artist’s rendering. Planned, designed, and implemented by Sensory Interactive, this platform will include digital and static displays, interactive kiosks, and activation-space technology that will support advertising, sponsorships, and live events.

Construction of the initial phases of Hollywood Park will be completed in 2020, and the project will host the Super Bowl in 2022. It is also expected to play a major role in the 2028 Summer Olympics.
