Featured Project: FusionCast Plaque Added to Wall of Champions

FusionCast's niche in the marketplace is as an alternative to traditional foundry-produced cast bronze, aluminum or copper signage.

Ontario, Canada-based FusionCast, an engineered cast-metal sign manufacturer, was recently commissioned to make a new plaque for the Wall of Champions at the Prestonwood Christian Academy, a PreK-12 school in Texas.

PCA’s Wall of Champions is located in the school’s Gateway Plaza. The permanent wall display of plaques was created to celebrate the best and brightest of their athletes. Every plaque on the wall honors each of the PCA’s 22 state and national championship teams and individual state champions.

Eighty percent of the plaques on the Wall of Champions came from FusionCast; their metal signs commemorate not only the names of players from the PCA Lions but also the name of every coach and trainer who taught them how to succeed athletically.

According to FusionCast, each of its ornamental tablets for the Wall of Champions is made with its patent-pending plaque process. The process, which involves cold casting techniques that fuse metal with high-density urethane, results-according to the company-in “a product that is as dignified and long-lasting as the achievements they commemorate.”
