Brookings, South Dakota-based Daktronics has been chosen by the Greensboro Grasshoppers-the Class A affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Miami Marlins-to design manufacture and install a new LED video display for its outfield at First National Bank Field in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The new display will feature a 15HD pixel layout to bring clear images to fans in every section of the stadium. It measures approximately 35′ x 47′ wide and will allow the team to show video, graphics and other sorts of information and entertainment to their fans. As with most Daktronics screens, the display is capable of variable content zoning, which allows it to show one large image or to be divided into multiple zones to show any combination of images, live in real-time or not.

“We are thrilled to unveil an incredible new videoboard this season,” says Greensboro Grasshoppers president and general manager Donald Moore. “This will add significantly to our game-day experience and I know our fans will love this addition.”
