Featured Project: Daktronics Audiovisual System Brightens Upstate New York Mall

"The whole world has shifted to digital advertising," says Marc Strang, corporate director of marketing for the shopping center's owner.

Brookings, South Dakota-based LED display manufacturer Daktronics, was hired by Pyramid Management Group, in conjunction with consulting firm Consumer Experience Group, to design, assemble and install a new double-sided LED display and audio system inside Palisades Center, an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment destination in West Nyack, New York.

“The whole world has shifted to digital advertising,” says Marc Strang, corporate director of marketing for Pyramid. “Pyramid is creating dynamic, digital experiences for our guests by featuring timely, relevant content on nearly 400 digital screens across our portfolio in valuable locations. We’re also excited to leverage these new LED displays to drive new revenue opportunities.”

The new double-side Daktronics display, which hangs in a busy fourth-floor corridor,

measures 9.5′ x 16.5′ and features 4-millimeter line spacing. The displays provide live and recorded videos; tenant and third-party advertising; venue branding and promotions; and other messages.

A Daktronics audio system is incorporated with the LED displays to bring uniqueness to the overall experience, according to the company.
