Carrollton, Texas-based sign shop franchisor FASTSIGNS International announces the opening of two new centers in Canada in the first half of 2017, as well as the signing of four franchise agreements to develop new locations in Calgary, Winnipeg and Oshawa in the coming months.

The company says that due to the ongoing growing demand for visual communications and digital signage technology, the company expects to sell a projected six to eight locations in Canada in all of this year. Currently there are 36 locations in that country.

“Canada has been and will continue to be a huge growth market for FASTSIGNS, so we’re excited about our expansion so far this year,” says Mark Jameson, executive vice president of franchise support and development. “There are ample opportunities to strengthen our presence through franchise development in key markets such as continued expansion in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta provinces and planned aggressive growth in Quebec. We are looking for qualified single unit and a master or area developer for Quebec-area franchisees to help us grow our footprint across Canada.”
