Equipment Zone completes an Epson-sponsored webcast as the first official event on the National Business Media (NBM) Webinar Channel. Parent company of A&E magazine, NBM’s new channel offers informative and valuable webcasts hosted by industry experts.

The July 27 webcast featured industry veteran Terry Combs, sales and training at Equipment Zone. Tony Dinnocenzio, Senior Regional Sales Manager at Epson America, also provided a short introduction to the program. Combs offered attendees a detailed glimpse into the world of direct-to-garment printing with a step-by-step demonstration of the process, advice on shopping for a printer, preatreatment tips, and an explanation of what the best substrates are for printing with direct-to-garment.

Dave Pomeroy, vice president of publishing and markets at NBM and moderator of the webcast, says the session saw 118 live viewers.

“We expect many more to view the archived presentation over the coming months,” adds Pomeroy.

For future installments, the NBM Webinar Channel will cover a wide variety of topics in the apparel decoration industry, as well as other graphics fields such as the awards and engraving, and sign and digital markets.

“We look forward to working with the many great trainers and teachers in the industry to bring their presentations to those who want to know, who are ready to take their business to that next level and are seeking guidance,” says Pomeroy.
