NORCO, Calif.-International E-Z UP wins its fifth consecutive Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Golden Image award for excellence in digital printing. The company takes home the award in the banners category.

This year’s award-winning banner is entitled “Rhythm and Beat,” an 80’s nostalgia piece created with digital printing.

“E-Z UP is the industry leader in digital printing,” says Mark Carter, founder and chairman of E-Z UP. “We pride ourselves in always trying to improve in our equipment and our techniques.”

In addition to an award for the “Rhythm and Beat” submission, E-Z UP also holds an honorable mention this year for its mini-Instant Shelter product.

“The ability to consistently print such high-quality products indicates that E-Z UP is an expert at controlling the many variables involved in specialty printing,” says Johnny Shell, vice president of technical services at SGIA.

This year’s submissions feature more than 60 companies with 300 entries in 53 categories. Judges base awards at the event on technical accomplishment, level of difficulty, and quality of execution.
