Durst Group, a manufacturer of digital printing and production technologies, announces it has agreed with Masaka Business Solutions, based in Casablanca/Morocco, on a distribution partnership for Durst’s Tau RSC label printing systems in the North and West Africa region.

Masaka Business Solutions is headed by Houssine Chekkar, owner and managing director of Masaka Business Solutions, who has more than 20 years of expertise in the printing industry and has held senior positions at Xerox and HP Indigo in the region.

“We are very pleased to have found an excellent representative for the North and West Africa region in Houssein Chekkar and his team at Masaka,” says Thomas Macina, global sales manager label & flexible packaging, Durst Group. “The company’s vast know-how in the digital graphics industry and its experience to implement and support digital printing solutions, as well as the necessary language diversity for the region, are key to successfully executing our growth strategy in the label segment.”

According to the companies, the partnership is intended to continuously develop the potential of the African market and expand the sales and service structure.

“The Tau RSC printer portfolio provides us with the best platform to accompany the digital transformation of local label converters,” emphasizes Chekkar. “Tau RSC technology will be invaluable for the establishment and development of digital label printing in North and West Africa in 2022 and beyond.”
