Diversified Promotes to Fill New Principal Engineering Role
This new wing of the company is all about helping companies whose audio/visual needs and capabilities are in transition.
Kenilworth, New Jersey-based Diversified, which provides digital signage and other technology-based solutions, announces that its former director of technology, Patrick Daly, will now assume the role of principal engineer for the company’s newest specialty, Emerging Technology & Solutions.
Daly has spent almost 20 years in the media and entertainment industry-15 of those with Diversified-and he will continue to lend his expertise to that division, working alongside chief technology officer Karl Paulsen. The company says its new division of Emerging Technology & Solutions will offer clients executive-level thought leadership, program management, and conceptual technology design aiding media and entertainment clients facing critical transitions, such as moving from a legacy broadcast model to an IP-centric approach or navigating new opportunities in virtualized operations.
“I’m thrilled to take on this expanded role within Diversified and ET&S and partner with a broader base of our most innovative clients,” says Daly. “As media technology innovates at a lighting pace, my deep experience in planning, design, and creation of advanced technical facilities combined with the proliferation of IP convergence will allow us to further drive technology development and implementation across the media landscape.”
