Direct Color Systems Receives Third Patent for ADA-Compliant Sign Printing Process

Rocky Hill, Connecticut-based Direct Color Systems, manufacturers of commercial and industrial inkjet printers, has received its third patent for its ADA-compliant, UV-LED sign printing process, marking a continued expansion of its intellectual property protection.

The company received its first patent in December of 2016 and then a second in September of 2017, which extends to the processes that were developed since the first patent was filed. The complete line of Direct Jet UVMVP Classic, 1800z, and 7200z printer models are now covered by U.S. patents numbers 10,029,487; 9,757,961; and 9,498,977.
