New York City-based outdoor advertising giant Clear Channel Outdoor Americas announces the appointment of Dan Ballard to branch president of its Minneapolis division.
In his new role, Ballard will provide leadership in all areas of business operations for that market, including sales, real estate, public affairs, operations and finance. He will also focus on building relationships with clients, lessors, communities and various state and local officials and ensure the Minneapolis branch’s safety measures, employee productivity, morale, training and development.
The company has some 1,500 printed billboards and 53 digital out-of-home signs in the Twin Cities market, the company says, and recently built digital signage on airport property at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). In 2016, Clear Channel Airports signed a 10-year partnership with the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) for the advertising concession at the MSP.
Most recently Ballard served as corporate vice president of revenue management for the company. He joined the company in 2009 as a business analytics director. Prior to joining Clear Channel Outdoor Ballard held various corporate positions with P&G, Colgate Palmolive, Swift Transportation and Honeywell Aerospace.
