London-based Cabletime, which makes hardware and software to serve the professional audio/visual markets, including digital signage, announces the naming of Vince Schuster as its new vice president of sales for the Americas.

In this role, Schuster will be responsible for managing the strategic development and sales growth of Cabletime’s Americas operations, which are headquartered in Mt. Arlington, New Jersey.

His new company says Schuster brings considerable senior management experience to Cabletime, built over 20 working in the professional AV and information technology sector. He is well known amongst channel partners, consultants, architects, and design-build systems integrators from multiple projects and installations that he has been involved in across North America and for global deployments, Cabletime says.

Schuster joins the company from Prysm Inc., where he was part of the executive team and vice president of North America sales. Prior to Prysm, he was director of sales at Planar Systems and held leadership roles at Panasonic, Salitek and Electrograph Systems.

At Cabletime Schuster will oversee sales management for both North and South American operations. He will also enable customer and partner technical support and training and will work closely with Cabletime’s head office in the United Kingdom.

“Vince has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to draw on, having worked with leading manufacturers, integrators, and influencers from our industry,” says Shaun Oxenham, CEO of Cabletime. “He has a keen understanding of what is needed to expand sales and meet customer expectations across the Americas, and we are looking forward to him joining us and expanding our MediaStar business. The board of Cabletime also wishes to thank Ed Carabetta for his 15 years of service and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”
