Los Gatos, California-based digital signage media player manufacturer BrightSign recently collaborated with Canadian full-service digital signage company iGotcha Media, with locations in Montreal and Toronto, to install point-of-sale lottery kiosks.

Loto-Quebec, which runs the lottery in the Quebec province, had the menu-based kiosks installed in several Walmart locations in Montreal and Toronto. The kiosks display lottery information and products and their content is updated on a weekly basis to highlight current promotions.

Once Loto-Quebec announced what its hardware requirements for the system were, iGotcha recommended BrightSign XD234 players and Samsung QLED televisions.

“The combined functionality of iGotcha Media’s advanced content management system and BrightSign’s media players were the ideal choice for the Loto-Quebec project,” says Kyle Pilot, chief technology officer and co-founder of iGotcha Media. “The players enabled both systems to seamlessly connect together, providing Loto-Quebec with an efficient and reliable solution.”

Various messages are displayed on the screen, corresponding to the weekly lottery results. iGotcha’s specialized in-house studio designed content for the kiosks, accounting for all the potential Loto-Quebec outcomes.
